Effective from June 1, 2026 · PuckFlux / Ondřej Vasil

1. Operator and contact

The PuckFlux app is operated by Ondřej Vasil (“PuckFlux” or “we”). Contact for contractual matters: info@puckflux.com.

By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of the service

PuckFlux is a web application for ice hockey stickhandling training. It tracks hand movement through the device camera and runs training games. The app is available at app.puckflux.com.

The service is offered in two tiers:

  • Free — limited access to games and statistics, no registration required
  • PuckFlux Pro — full access, statistics and leaderboards; available after registration and payment of a subscription

3. Registration and account

Registration is required to access paid features. You agree to:

  • provide truthful and up-to-date information when registering
  • protect your login credentials and not share them with third parties
  • notify us without delay if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

One account is intended for one user. Sharing an account between several people is not permitted.

4. Subscription and payments

The PuckFlux Pro subscription is offered on a monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. Payment details are stored solely with Stripe — PuckFlux has no access to them.

  • The subscription renews automatically at the start of each new billing period
  • You can cancel the subscription at any time in your account settings; access to Pro features remains active until the end of the paid period
  • The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content (access to the app) — access is granted immediately upon payment, which the user acknowledges
  • Prices include VAT where applicable

5. Rules of use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. The following is prohibited:

  • attempting to circumvent paid features, sharing access or otherwise abusing it
  • automated downloading or scraping of the app’s content
  • attacking the app’s infrastructure (DoS, brute-force and similar)
  • impersonating another user or PuckFlux
  • uploading or sharing content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes third-party rights

6. Intellectual property

All content of the app — design, graphics, game mechanics, code and text — is the intellectual property of PuckFlux and is protected by copyright. Copying, distributing or creating derivative works from the content is prohibited without our written consent.

These restrictions do not apply to content you enter into the app yourself (e.g. your own game results) — that remains your property.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the app continuously available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:

  • carry out planned and unplanned outages for maintenance
  • modify, add or remove features of the app
  • discontinue the service with at least 30 days’ notice, in which case any paid but unused subscription will be refunded pro rata

8. Limitation of liability

PuckFlux is provided “as is”. We are not liable for:

  • injury or other harm to health arising during training — you undertake the physical activity at your own risk
  • loss of or damage to data caused by technical problems outside our control
  • indirect damages, lost profit or other consequential damages

Our total liability towards you will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.

9. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by a separate Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app settings (Profile → Delete account). Deleting the account terminates the subscription and all data is removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or close the account of a user who demonstrably breaches these terms, with no entitlement to a refund of fees.

11. Changes to these terms

We will announce material changes to these terms by e-mail or by a notice in the app at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

The current version is always available on this page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent Czech courts. Consumers also have the right to use the EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
